Great Experience
Great private trip! Great service and quick response to meet our demands and schedule our trip. We were able to customize the trip to what we wanted to see and do. And for a great price compared to what the hotel and other companies were offerimg! The skipper was very kind, explained the grottos and the history of the coast including the old towers, took pictures for us.
Wonderful Time!
If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Simon was amazing! He had a cooler of beverages ready for us on board, as well as towels, and water floats. After the boarding in the morning we’ve sailed along the coast toward Capri, and once there he showed us all the grottos and stop for swim inside the green grotto, wonderful time, I won’t forget! After lunch, we spent the entire afternoon taking more dips on the sea and enjoying Simon’s company on the boat. This was the best day of our entire Italy vacation!
A ‘Master’ful coastal boat tour
We recently enjoyed a full day tour with Positano Boat Tours, on board the ‘Master.’ Our guide and captain, Simone, ever professional and friendly, was deeply familiar with the Amalfi Coast having navigated the local waters since his childhood. We were picked up at the Positano ferry slip by a motored dinghy to shuttle us to the boat where we met Simone. After providing a brief orientation to the watercraft, including a fridge/cooler well-stocked with water, soda/pop, and an assortment of beer/Aperol spritzer, we set off from Positano and ranged to Maiori. We brought some snacks including fresh fruit and chips, and am glad we didn’t bring more substantial food (no need to bring any sort of picnic lunch, and in fact would be discouraged to avoid soiling the beautiful wood deck from spilled food).
We cruised at a comfortable speed, enough to generate a warm breeze, on a hot, humid, cloudless day. Simone was available and happy to answer questions about the many towers and other land features we passed. He also shared bits about the coastal history which we enjoyed. The boat was pristine and well-maintained, and we were asked to doff our shoes while on board. While I’m not sure what the maximum number of passengers is permitted for this watercraft, it was perfect for our party of four, with two of us spending their time sunbathing on the foredeck. A head was available in the cabin belowdeck.
On the return we stopped into a small cove for lunch at a boat-accessed restaurant, San Croce, which had reasonably priced meals, served in a beautiful setting. There also was a small pebbly beach but we didn’t stay as we wanted to get back on board where we took the opportunity to go for a swim from the boat at anchor. We passed on a grotto visit as one of our group had not brought their sea legs that day!
A wonderful way to spend the day, and we would happily go back with this group and skipper to continue exploring other aspects of the coast!
Great Boat Tour!
The crew was wonderful and attentive. We were able to get pictures and video of us going through the arch which was a highlight for us. The boat was confortable and the drinks were good. The trip was exactly as described.
Amazing boat tour in Capri
Today we had our boat tour to Capri. The Skipper Simon show us all the grottos and stop for swim near the restaurant we’ve booked in Marina Piccola, view on the famous faraglioni rocks. Amazing day!!!
We’ll never forget
